To the Editor:
Regarding the pillow fight, my daughter wanted to attend but it was her first day of classes and she had tons of homework in chemistry and calculus due the next day.
Perhaps next year you could select move-in day as the kids were dying to get out of the dorms and do something that night and what would’ve been more fun than beating the heck out of each other with pillows after a long day of dealing with the parents, traffic, food lines, bookstore lines, etc.
Think about it for next year. It sounds like a good cause and a good reason for students all to get together on their first night at OSU and vent their remaining energy. Just a thought.
