Dale Gnidovec, curator of the Geology museum in Orton Hall, dusts the skeleton of a giant brown sloth. Its fossil bones are more than 10,000 years old and very delicate. “If anyone was going to break it, I’d rather it be me because I know how to repair it,” Gnidovec said.
