Kylie Minogue is sweeping the charts with her CD “Fever,” which has won various awards and has the world wanting more.

Minogue released “Fever” in the United States a week ago and it has already soared up the pop charts with her first single, “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” an upbeat dance tune. The song is hypnotic and repetitious with a pulsating bass undertone that will have listeners dancing and unable to get Minogue out of their heads.

In December, “Fever” had already sold more than 2.5 million copies worldwide. Minogue won two awards at the Brits. At Holland’s Edisson Awards – the Dutch equivalent of the Brits – Minogue won “Best International Song.” She also won “Best Pop Act” at the National Music Express Awards in London along with many other awards at overseas ceremonies.

“In Your Eyes” is the second single from the CD that has a mystical, hypnotic flavor that will have listeners definitely meeting Minogue on the dance floor. The song is fast-paced and demonstrates a key that best suits Minogue’s voice. This song offers some of the better vocals on the entire CD.

Although “Fever” is a club CD, the world is anticipating more from Minogue as her fan base, CD sales and engagements begin to increase.

In a mediocre effort vocally, Minogue’s music and lyrics will carry the CD into mass appeal. The lyrics and beats create a fun, uptempo dance and techno sound that is so energetic. Minogue does not provide a completely original sound, but her provocative photos and wardrobe are a sure sell.
