Heritage festival Town Hall meeting

The host of “BET Tonight,” Ed Gordon, will lead a discussion from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight in the Ohio Union Ballroom. The topic is “The Changing Face of the Black Family: What Have We Done? What Can We Do?”

This event marks the first day of the African American Heritage Festival.

Traditional dance show returns

The 16th annual Pan-Hellenic black greek step show will be held from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the Mershon Auditorium. An after-party will occur from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the Ohio Union ballrooms. Student tickets are available at the Wexner center ticket office for $12 with a BuckID.

General admission tickets are $15.

Scarlet and Gray Ag day

The university will bring in fifth- and seventh- grader to a variety of workshops. They will learn about entomology, pigs and other sorts of farm life. Students from different organizations in the Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences are volunteering at the event.

It will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.

A service for remembrance

The memorial service for the students killed in the April 13 fire will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Mershon Auditorium. The service is open to the community, and free parking will be available in the Ohio Union parking garage. The doors for the ceremony will open at 4:30 p.m.
