Depressed about not being able to watch the big game in the Horseshoe? Couldn’t afford that expensive plane ticket to Arizona? Wish you could cheer on the Buckeyes alongside thousands of the “best damn fans in (the) land”? Now you can, and here’s where to go:

The Schott: Organizations throughout campus along with corporate sponsors will be showing the game on a big screen at the Schottenstein Center. There will be food, games and prizes.

Caress Russell, freshman in health professions, said she plans to watch the game at the Schott “because it’s a lively environment, where a lot of students should be.”

A ticket is necessary to get in, but you can receive two tickets if you’re an Ohio State student. Tickets can be picked up using BuckIDs at several locations around campus: the Ohio Union Information Center, RPAC information desk, ARC front desk, Morrill Tower front desk, University Housing Office at 1618 Highland Street, University Housing Office at Neilwood Gables and the Schottenstein Center ticket office.

Eddie George’s Grill: For a restaurant atmosphere still filled with intense fans and located within a short walking distance of campus, Eddie George’s Grill 27 is the place to go. Located on the southeast corner of High and Chittenden, this hot spot promises to be filled with hardcore fans who come for both the food and the booze. Following in the footsteps of one of OSU’s most popular alumnus who wore No. 27, the restaurant features 27 wines, 27 different kinds of beer, 27 specialty drinks and a 27-ounce steak. This place has it all for the fierce, famished Buckeye fan.

Panini’s: Another favorite hangout of Buckeye fans is Panini’s Bar & Grill located on High Street next to Newport Music Hall. Fans can enjoy a 32-ounce Coors Light for only $3 in celebration of the big game. Customers can also enter to win a GSXR motorcycle that will be given away. Fans can also participate in the football squares game for free, in which the first 100 people to sign-up could win $100.

Champps: For the student with an early morning class Tuesday seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, but still looking to have tons of fun, Champps American, located in the Lennox Center will supply a conducive setting. Champps boasts 25 flat screen TVs, including a 120-inch screen on which the National Championship will be shown in high definition.
