I am sick of campus crime. Late Sunday night my red Honda Civic was vandalized for a third time. Most likely, a drunk person threw a concrete block through my back windshield. All the doors were locked and nothing was missing, which leads me to think that it had to be a drunk student. I live in an area surrounded by students so it is likely that only drunk students would be passing my car.

In December 2006, my car’s stereo and CDs were stolen. That was the second time since that September my CDs were stolen (not to mention the thousands of dents on the car from hit and runs). This time what disappoints me is this was a random act of vandalism to a student’s property from likely a drunk OSU fan.

As a recent graduate, I am disgusted how students treat the neighborhood. It is dangerous to walk with sandals because of countless broken beer bottles. All parking is park at your own risk, but if someone hits another car it is polite to leave a note. It would be my graduating wish that OSU students be more respectful of others. I would hope OSU students would have enough guts to admit when they are wrong and damage others’ property.
