Student commends window smasher
Over the weekend, I had the extreme pleasure of discovering that my driver’s side window had been smashed out the night before by some drunken idiot a couple blocks from campus. I would like to take this opportunity to commend him/her for their behavior before the entire campus community. I believe that this person deserves a pat on the back for adding one more thing for me to worry about as term paper deadlines and finals approach this coming week. I’m sure, at the time, it seemed that it was the right thing to do, to throw a brick through a parked car window. You, whoever you may be, probably didn’t consider who’s car it was or how much that car meant to the owner. Yeah, I must admit, I received the car when my grandfather died a year ago. I’m sure you just looked at it as just someone else’s property to vandalize not considering the harm. Whoever you may be, I’m glad you got your jollies at my expense. It’ll only set me back a few hundred dollars. Kudos to you, you ignorant ***.
