Human Rights

Human Rights Awareness Week will kick off with an art exhibition from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. The project, which uses body bags and paint to express human rights, will form a trail from Hopkins Hall to The Oval. A series of lectures and films will run from today to Friday.

Success is in the air

The Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals will host their second annual Speaking of Success event at 7:30 tonight at the Blackwell Inn. The theme for the day is “Consumer Relations in the Changing World.” Speakers include the comissioner of trademarks for the United States, the vice president of marketing at Nationwide and the OSU synchronized swim coach.

Job Interviewing Workshop

The Office of International Education will conduct a workshop to teach job interviewing skills and tips on immigration work issues to international students looking for internships and jobs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Younkin Success Center in room 150.

Asian Festival

The Ohio Union will host the Asian Food and Culture Festival from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at Ohio Union Ballrooms. The festival features ethnic cuisines and entertaining performances: a talent showcase and a fashion show. Admission fee is $2.

Smith movies

The Ohio Union will screen movies highlighting Kevin Smith at 8 p.m. Thursdays throughout the month at the Ohio Union Conference Theater. “Clerks” will be shown on Thursday.

Renaissance Fair

The annual Medieval and Renaissance Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday on the South Oval.

Lil Sibs Carnival

The public is invited to participate in the annual Lil Sibs Carnival, which presents music, games, sand art and photo-taking sessions for free from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday on the west lawn of the Ohio Union.
