Pop superstar Britney Spears is going to hit Columbus one more time.

Spears is scheduled to perform at Nationwide Arena Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m. as part of her “Femme Fatale” tour, the venue announced Wednesday.

Tickets will go on sale July 9 at 10 a.m.

The tour, Spears’ sixth, kicked off June 16 in Sacramento. There are currently 39 performances planned for North America, including a stop in Cleveland July 26, as well as 26 others in Europe.

Each performance on the tour will feature a five-part story in which Spears attempts to escape a stalker.

Spears’ tour comes on the heels of the release of her seventh album, also titled “Femme Fatale,” which was released March 25 and debuted at No. 1 that week on the Billboard 200 chart. The album has since been certified platinum with help of singles “Hold It Against Me” and “Till The World Ends.”

Spears last performed in Columbus at the Schottenstein Center in 2009 as part of her tour, “The Circus.” She also brought her “Dream Within a Dream” tour to Columbus in 2001 (the first stop of that tour), as well as her “Oops!… I Did it Again World Tour” in 2000 and “…Baby One More Time” tour in 1999.

Tickets range from $32.50 to $353 and can be purchased at the Nationwide Arena ticket office, ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000.
