Fees, deposits give help for cash crisis
In response to Yoko Kuroda’s article regarding the financial plight of Asian students, I would like to comment on the behalf of the Office of Fees, Deposits and Disbursements. Although Kuroda presented many important and pertinent facts regarding the current financial situation in many Asian countries, I was dismayed to see that virtually no mention was made of the assistance that is available to students via The Tuition Option Payment Plan (TOPP). TOPP is a monthly payment plan that is administered by the Office of Fees, Deposits and Disbursements. Because the program is managed from within the university, we are sometimes able to make special arrangements for students with regard to payment of their fees.I would encourage any students who are having difficulty paying their fees for Winter Quarter to contact TOPP to discuss their situation. We can be reached by E-mail at [email protected], by phone at 614-292-8677, by fax at 614-292-0545 or in person in Room 220 Lincoln Tower, Window 4.
