Golf team wins tourney
The Ohio State men’s golf team won the Northern Intercollegiate tournament this weekend. The tournament, shortened by rain, was held on OSU’s Scarlet Course.The Buckeyes finished with a two round total of 589 (+13), eight strokes better than second place Northwestern.OSU was lead by Chris Wollmann,the tournament’s individual winner. Wollmann, a senior from Parma, shot a 70 in the first round and a 69 in the second round to finish the tournament five under par. The Buckeyes travel to Dallas, Texas on Oct. 14-15 for the Red River Invitational.
