OSU golfers advance to NCAAs
The Ohio State men’s golf team took sixth place honors at the NCAA Central Regional this weekend.The tournament, held at the Jimmie Austin-University of Oklahoma Golf Course, featured 21 schools, with the top ten schools qualifying for the NCAA Championships in Evanston, Ill., on May 29-June 1.The Buckeyes shot a 287 in the final round for a three-day total of 870. Oklahoma State took first place, with a three-day total of 843.Craig Matthew led the Buckeye charge with an 11th place finish, three shots better than teammate Ryan Armour who was 22nd.
