In honor of the former Undergraduate Student Government president, USG has created the Eddie Pauline Leadership Award.
The award will be given annually to a USG member who exudes the Pauline spirit. In order to honor Pauline’s overall excellence and to commemorate the end of his presidency, Pauline, a senior in geological and political science, will be the first recipient of the Eddie Pauline Leadership Award.
Pauline’s reign as USG president ended Sunday when his successor, Mike Goodman, was sworn into office. Sarah Topy, chief of staff for USG, said during Pauline’s term in office he demonstrated a strong sense of leadership and was dedicated to making Ohio State a better place for everyone.
