Bloodmobile drive
Ohio State will be able to donate twice today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at OSU College of Medicine and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. near Mershon Auditorium and Wexner Center. The bloodmobile will be on campus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow at the OSU Athletics on 2491 Olentangy River Road and from 10 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at OSU Student Health Center.
Late Soviet Film series
The Center for Slavic and East European Studies will screen “Taxi Blues” at 7:30 p.m. today at Mendenhall Laboratory in room 100.
Road to Success series
A discussion on race and ethnicity, “Brothers and Sister Together” will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. tomorrow at Ohio Union room 455.
Marriage and money management
Consumer Credit Counseling Services will present the ways to prevent family disagreements. The seminar will discuss honest communication about the money and many other family income management techniques from 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday at Dreese Laboratories room 713. Call 247-7961 to register.
Talk on endangered languages
Steven Hartman Keiser from Marquette University will present “Pennsylvania German of Ohio and Iowa,” a speech on endangered languages at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Oxley Hall room 122.
The film “The Son”
Wexner Center will hold a screening of “The Son.” The film revolves around a quiet carpentry instructor at a vocational center who becomes distressed when a 16-year-old boy and an old acquaintance, is placed in his class. The showing is at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Film and Video Theater of the Wexner Center.
Workshop on youth violence and remedy
Gerald Juhnke, a professor at University of North Carolina Greensboro will present a workshop on youth violence and practical intervention strategies from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the Fawcett Center. Registration is available online at www.coe.ohio-state.edu/dgranello.
