Ohio State’s first night game will be against the Cornhuskers on Sept. 28, the Big Ten announced Monday.

The Buckeyes will travel to Lincoln, Nebraska to face off against the Cornhuskers at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday Sept. 28. The game will be nationally televised on ABC.

This matchup will be the first of three straight night games for the Buckeyes, as they will also play Michigan State on Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. and at Northwestern on Oct. 18 at 8:30 p.m.

The matchup against Nebraska will be the Buckeyes second road game of the season following their 51-10 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers.

Last year’s game with the Cornhuskers was a close one, as Ohio State won 36-30 after trailing 21-16 at the half. Nebraska sophomore quarterback Adrian Martinez found success against Ohio State in 2018, accounting for 338 total yards and three touchdowns.

Nebraska is 2-1 this season, with wins against South Alabama and Northern Illinois and a loss to Colorado.
