Good Luck Bucks Banner Signing

Students will be able to write a message on a banner to the OSU football team. The event will take place at the Ohio Union West Lawn from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday. Free food will be provided and buckeye necklaces will be on sale.

Spielman on Sports at Woody’s

Chris Spielman will broadcast his 1460 AM (The Fan) sports radio show live from Woody’s Place in the Ohio Union at noon Monday.

American Red Cross Blood Battle

Roll up your sleeves and get ready to donate blood as Ohio State takes on Michigan in one of the oldest and most popular Beat Michigan Week Traditions. The winning school will be recognized at the game on Saturday. The event begins at Stradley and Park Halls from 2-8 p.m. today. Other locations for the week-long blood drive are as follows:

Mitten Sew-a-Thon

Lend a helping hand to the homeless and volunteer to make mittens. The fourth annual Mitten Project will take place at the Ohio Union on Thursday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. All mittens made will be donated to homeless shelters and those in need.

Wing the Wolverines

Feeling hungry? More than 15,000 chicken wings will be ready to eat at the fourth annual Wing the Wolverine feast on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ohio Union Ballrooms. Sample wings from area restaurants and vote on your “Favorite Wing of OSU students.” A chance to try your luck at Karaoke will also be available.

Men’s basketball vs. Globetrotters

The Globetrotters are coming to town. Three days before their home opener, the OSU Men’s basketball team will host this incomparable team at the Schottenstein Center on Friday at 7:30 p.m. For more information check out www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com.

The Day of the Game

Wake up and smell the pancakes and sausage. A free breakfast will be provided by Bob Evans from 9-11 a.m. at Larkins Hall. Campus dining commons will also serve free pancakes and sausages to students and their guests

Also at 9 a.m., the Beat Michigan Week committee can help you get your game face on at the Buckeye Face Painting event held at the tent near St. John Arena.

At 10 a.m., don’t miss your chance to be a part of the Buckeye Spirit Tunnel. Fans will be able to line a path from St. John Arena to Ohio Stadium and cheer on the Bucks as they make their way into the ‘Shoe.

Game time: 12:15 p.m. The 99th rivalry begins.

Post-game with the Pat McGee Band

A free show by the Pat McGee Band will be held at the Newport Music Hall at 9 p.m. on Saturday. Two tickets per BuckID are available at the Newport Music Hall. Doors will open at 8 p.m. with local artists Fates Hates Us and Gravy opening up for the band.

Project Pride Campus Clean-up

As always, there may be a mess around campus the day after the big event. Student organizations have coordinated a post-game clean-up that starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday at 15th and High.
