Nov. 9: A woman walking southbound on Lane Ave. was attacked by a man who grabbed her shoulder and attempted to pull her to the ground.

The woman began to scream and kicked the man in his groin. The man then hit her on the right side of her face with the heal of his hand and ran away towards Drackett Tower. She said he appeared to be highly intoxicated.

The woman described the man as a white male about 6 ft. tall with blond hair worn in spikes lighter than his natural hair color. She said he had an earring in his left ear and a scar on his right eyebrow.

Counterfeit bill found by manager

Nov. 11: A Kennedy Commons manager reported a $100 counterfeit bill in their cash deposit. The manager checked the log transactions of the previous day and found no cash transactions had been made.

The manager suspected another Commons manager who had access to the cash may have switched the counterfeit bill during his shift. He was unaccounted for at work and had not been seen for over an hour.

Projector stolen from Math Building

Nov. 12: According to University Police, an overhead projector mounted from the ceiling of the Math Building was stolen during building renovations.

An employee of the construction company handling the renovations reported the projector was in place the day before and discovered the latch of the door had been jammed so that the door appeared closed but was not secured.

Threatening note found on car

Nov. 13: A woman reported she found a threatening note underneath her windshield wiper when she returned to her vehicle parked in the Arps parking garage.

The note stated “ever park like this again, and I will slash your tires and key your car.” Police said her vehicle was parked within the parking space, not preventing anyone from parking next to her.
