During my 25 years on the Ohio State Journalism faculty, our majors used to fight for Lantern editorships.Since the Journalism School has been melded with the “communications” department, enrollment has fallen so low the Lantern has to beg the entire campus to help publish the paper.What a tragic loss to OSU and our entire journalistic profession!
