Ohio state received a commitment from three-star outside linebacker Mitchell Melton Wednesday for its 2020 class.
Melton played at Good Counsel High School in Olney, Md. and is ranked as the No. 19 player in Maryland per 247Sports.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Melton is now the second outside linebacker to join the Buckeyes’ class of 2020 in the last four days, with four-star linebacker Cody Simon announcing his commitment on Saturday.
With Melton’s announcement, Ohio State has received seven recruit commitments for 2020 and 2021 in the last 13 days.
Melton is Ohio State’s 17th hard commit for the 2020 class.
