I wanted to lend my voice to what I hope is a chorus of support for professor Roger Blackwell. I took his marketing class simply as a way to be a full-time student while I was taking my engineering courses. That was by far the best class I took at the university.

He teaches that course for the most noble reason I can think of, simply to inspire and educate the next generation. One particular lesson I retained from that class was you make your own good luck; a lucky person is in the right place at the right time. Inversely, if you do not put yourself in the right place you will miss out on opportunities. To make that lesson resonate with the class, he passed out a quiz. If you were present that day you passed, if you cut class that day you failed. I relied on that lesson several times since graduation in a difficult job market.

Blackwell is a man of the highest integrity and I know with certainty that the charges against him are false.

There are many things that make Ohio State University great. Blackwell is definitely one of them.
