Congratulations to Ohio State University on their victory in the Fiesta Bowl. I live in Arizona, and I am an Arizona State alum. I have had two experiences with Buckeye fans in this bowl-game atmosphere, yesterday and in Pasadena in 1997.
I don’t think my experiences can be unique. I have found Buckeye players and fans to be very good sportsmen and (something all too rare these days) very good winners.
While some people who are accustomed to winning become boorish egomaniacs, this is not the case with the majority of Buckeyes. The respect that is shown to the opponent is really something to be proud of.
