An alternative to Lennox traffic woes

In response to Brian Hayes’ column about the lack of parking and sold-out shows at the Lennox Theaters, I would like to remind OSU students, faculty, and staff that there is a movie theater right here on campus.The Wexner Center regularly shows new independent and international film, Hollywood classics, documentaries and frequently invites filmmakers and critics to do presentations.For instance, in February, Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami will be at the Wexner to introduce his most recent film “Taste of Cherry” which won the Palme D’or at last year’s Cannes Film Festival.Student ticket prices are $4 (even for our frequent double features). I hope everyone will pick up a current calendar in the Wexner Center lobby and check out our film and video program.
