Athletes making the grade

Academic all-Big Ten selections were announced yesterday and Ohio State had their share of students making the grade.Thirty-five Ohio State student-athletes were named to the list of 371 academic all-Conference selections who participated in one of the seven winter conference sports. The sports are men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s gymnastics, men’s and women’s swimming and diving and wrestling.To be eligible for academic all-Big Ten selection, an athlete must be a letterwinner in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a career grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better.
