A theft from a motor vehicle was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred between 10 p.m. Nov. 18 and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday on North High Street near East Patterson Avenue. According to the online police log, an unknown suspect gained entry to the victim’s vehicle by breaking a side window and stole a backpack and about $1,800 worth of property, including a laptop and prescription drugs.

A rape was reported to University Police as having occurred at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at Blackburn House.

A theft from a motor vehicle was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred at 8 a.m. Wednesday on Summit Street near East 13th Avenue. According to the online police log, an unknown person gained entry to the trunk of the victim’s car overnight and stole multiple pairs of shoes worth $7,000.

A robbery was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred at 11:08 a.m. Wednesday at the Huntington Bank branch near the Gateway district. According to the online police log, the suspect entered the bank and presented a witness with a note demanding cash. The witness denied having any cash, and the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was later detained by Columbus Police.

An instance of public indecency was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred at 1 p.m. Wednesday on East Fifth Avenue near North High Street. According to the online police log, an unknown male pulled up to the victim in a dark SUV with a Florida license plate and had his genitalia exposed. The victim began to walk away, and the man followed her in his vehicle and asked her to watch him masturbate.

A rape was reported to University Police as having occurred at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Bowen House.

An assault was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred at 10:55 p.m. Thursday at Julep, a bar in the Short North. According to the online police log, the victim who stated he was working security was approached by the suspect who asked him for money. The victim refused to give the suspect money and asked him to leave, prompting the suspect to spit in the victim’s face, attempt to punch him and threaten to “cut” him. The suspect then fled the scene.

An assault was reported to University Police as having occurred at 12:06 a.m. Saturday at the Wexner Center for the Arts.

An assault was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred at 12:48 a.m. Sunday at Out-R-Inn. According to the online police log, two suspects assaulted the victim inside the bar by throwing him to the ground and beating him. The suspects stated that they asked the victim to leave, and the victim refused, prompting the suspects to forcibly remove the victim.
