The man arrested at Wednesday’s International Town Hall Meeting held at St. John Arena was arraigned yesterday morning in Franklin County Municipal Court.Joshua R. Paulson, 19, of Yellow Springs, Ohio, pleaded not guilty to charges of criminal trespass and resisting arrest.Paulson was arrested for ignoring police requests that he remove an object, which turned out to be a protest sign, from his coat, said University Police Chief Ron Michalec.After his arrest, Paulson posted $85 bond and was released from the Franklin County Jail, the Clerk of Courts office said.According to the Columbus Prosecutors Office, resisting arrest is a second degree misdemeanor and criminal trespass is a fourth degree misdemeanor. Paulson faces up to $1000 in fines and 120 days in jail.No court date for Paulson has been set.
