As someone who is rather concerned about the level of political discourse in this country, I was wondering if someone could explain to me the purpose of the event held by the Ohio State College Republicans titled “Eat More than Mike Moore.”
I found this concept to be highly irresponsible if only for the wasteful consumption of food. This seems to be merely a personal attack on a person who is not liked in the conservative community. This is after several years of complaints about liberals calling President Bush an idiot. Surely calling a man with no political authority fat is no better.
If you have a problem with the things that Moore says, tell me what you have a problem with and why he is wrong. I will listen to facts. Name calling and cheap stunts, on the other hand, will simply cause me to ignore you, even if you have something valid to say.
