Is Jessica Weeks running out of sources on sexism to complain about?It seems as though her world of sexism is starting to slow down. She now has to create it in a place where Americans find pride. The National Aeronautical and Space Agency (NASA) just like every other governmental organization has gone past the issue of gender, but it’s not far enough for people like Weeks. Not only is America and the world more equal in the sense of sex with laws giving equal rights to both groups, but now we have to make sure that every space shuttle flight consists of an equal number of males and females. Forget about one female and we might have an extremist group like the National Organization for Women banging at our doors! Perhaps it is such that she doesn’t understand the meaning behind sending John Glenn into space. Perhaps you didn’t know that this was a publicity event. Who better to send than the aging senator from Ohio who happens to be a legend and hero of our community? But I’m sure it was a stab at the female gender of our nation. I can’t wait until the day when I see female protesters standing outside the men’s bathroom wanting permission to enter!
