Jewel’s new album delicately unveils an array of songs for every mood with music that compliments her incredible voice.
“This Way” is a combination of ballads and up tempo songs with very personal and romantic lyrics that soothe the heart and move the soul.
“Break Me” is a song on the CD that is intimate and has a slow tempo with a harmonica melody in the background. The lyrics remind the listener of love, pain and relationships.
“Til We Run Out of Road” has an upbeat tempo and reminisces on the good ole’ days, fun and friendship. This is one of the better songs on the CD, and it elevates the imagination with each guitar string and note.
To add to this superb CD, Jewel has two bonus tracks, “Grey Matter” and “Sometimes It Be That Way.” The beats are groovy and the music is fresh.
“This Way” is a good demonstration of Jewel’s strong vocals and the lucrative lyrics prove that there is only one way to compose a CD of this magnitude.
