Neighborhood Safety Notice: CPD in search of vehicle related to sexual assault near Ohio State campus

Columbus Division of Police is in search of a vehicle related to a sexual assault investigation involving a female Ohio State student. The student entered a car she thought was part of a ride-share service Saturday at 1:30 a.m., and was assaulted by its driver.

The student was picked up at West Lane Avenue and North High Street and was able to escape the vehicle, according to a Neighborhood Safety Notice released Monday. The driver is described as a thin, 6-foot-tall Asian male, between 23 and 27 years of age with black spiked hair.

The vehicle law enforcement officials are hoping to identify is a white, four-door sedan — the manufacturer was not listed. The car is missing a hubcap on the driver’s side rear wheel or has a small spare tire mounted on the vehicle, according to the safety notice.

  1. The fact that female students shouldn’t go out at night. It’s not safe at all, and they have to learn yourself protecting skill. Now sexual assault is rather popular, and people should be trained about this. Ps Luis from blog with best fishing kayaks

  2. Female or male, students should be safe within the campus. If sexual assault is popular, some of us will make ruthless killing of these criminals extremely popular.
