G-Eazy, 7 p.m. at Express Live, 405 Neil Ave. The Oakland-based rapper will be performing in Columbus this weekend for the latest stop on his “Endless Summer” tour, joined by his opening act P-Lo. G-Eazy gained a lot of mainstream popularity over the past few years, and fans can expect him to perform hit songs like “No Limit” and “Me Myself & I.” Tickets begin at $49.50 plus fees via Ticketmaster.

Midwest Queer Comedy Festival, 6 p.m. at Kafe Kerouac, 2250 N. High St. The inaugural Midwest Queer Comedy Festival will be five nights of LGBTQ+ comedians performing in multiple venues across Columbus, including Kafe Kerouac, Slammers, The Tree Bar and Bossy Grrl’s Pin Up Joint. The festival is dedicated to highlighting and showcasing diverse talent to Midwest comedy fans. Single day passes begin at $15 and the full weekend package begins at $60 via Eventbrite.

Friday, Aug. 24

Breakaway Music Festival, 4 p.m. at MAPFRE Stadium, One Black and Gold Blvd. For the first time since its inception in Columbus, Breakaway Music Festival will be a three-day event. Headliners include popular acts like Halsey, Migos, Khalid, Odesza, Jaden Smith, Rich the Kid and many more national and local artists. There also will be numerous art installations and food vendors on site. Single-day passes begin at $75 plus fees and three-day passes begin at $169 plus fees via Front Gate.  

Breakaway Afterparty w/ Drezo, 11 p.m. at Trism, 1636 N. High St. After his set at Breakaway Music Festival, popular EDM artist Drezo will be performing at one of many after-parties that Trism will be hosting this weekend. This event is ages 21-plus and tickets begin at $10 plus fees via Eventbrite.

Saturday, Aug. 25

Citywalks Columbus Tours 2018, 10 a.m. at the Stephen Canneto Sculpture, 1 S. High St. Experience downtown Columbus and its Capitol Square and impressive riverfront on a 90-minute guided walking tour. The tour guides are experts in history and architecture and will take guests through key landmarks like the Huntington Bank Building, Ohio Statehouse, Ohio Theatre and more. Tickets begin at $10 via Eventbrite.

Sunday, Aug. 26

D.R.X Obstacle Games, 9 a.m. at Black Diamond Obstacle Course, 1125 College Ave. The racing heptathlon competition will take place in Columbus this weekend. The seven physical competitions include tire jumps, rope climbing, tire flips and more. Tickets begin at $60 per athlete via Eventbrite.

OhioHealth Emerald City Half & Quarter Marathon, 7 a.m. at Perimeter Drive, Dublin. This year’s Emerald City Half Marathon expects hundred of racers to turn out for their annual event. After completing their 13-mile trek, runners can celebrate with a free post-race party at Los Jimadores Mexican Grill and Cantina. Registration fees begin at $70 and $90 for the quarter- and half-marathons respectively.
