Former California forward Justice Sueing announced on Twitter Friday night that he has committed to Ohio State.

Averaging 14.7 points and 6 rebounds a game this past season, the 6-foot-7 sophomore led the Bears in scoring and boards during a year that saw them go 8-23.

Sueing will occupy Ohio State’s final scholarship spot for the upcoming season.

After sitting out the 2019-20 season, Sueing is expected to play in the 2020-21 season as a redshirt junior with two more years of eligibility.

Former California head coach Wyking Jones was replaced by Mark Fox on March 29 and Sueing entered the transfer portal soon after.

Sueing reportedly visited Ohio State last week and had previously visited San Diego State.

He joins junior guard C.J. Walker as the second player in the last two seasons to transfer to Ohio State and sit out a year.
