Quality, not cost, most important
I noticed the article on the editorial page in today’s Lantern regarding what USG should be doing. I agree with the comment that proposing an easing of the restrictions on evening and overnight parking would be welcome and relatively cost-free.The area I would hope the Lantern and USG could agree on is some input into issues of quality in the educational process. The other major issue the writer mentioned was being against anything “that costs more.” I would be much more impressed if there was a concern about quality rather than the costs. If you want the costs lowered (of any item – including education), all you need to do is reduce the quality. Unfortunately, I rarely see this issue debated.
