Concerning the article, “Easy access to abortions,” I felt the need to reply. Although Jessica (Weeks) said that young women do have the option of adoption, she said that poor women could not afford even that. Well then maybe those who can’t afford the consequences of sex should think, before “doing it.” And as for the 14-year-old girl, she should have to tell her mom. Her mom is her guardian and is legally in charge of her. Also stated in the article is that insurance sometimes covers abortions but rarely birth control. I think that is deplorable. It would be much more inexpensive for the company to cover birth control, if we’re going to talk about money. And it’s much better to prevent an unwanted life than ending it once it’s begun.
