Ohio State fifth-year senior center Billy Price has been named Big Ten Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year, the conference announced Thursday.

Price is the third straight Ohio State lineman to win the award, following in the footsteps of center Pat Elflein and left tackle Taylor Decker, both of whom are in the NFL.

Price made the switch from right guard to center for his final season with the Buckeyes. He has started in a school record 53 straight games, dating back to his first start as a redshirt freshman against Virginia Tech in 2014.

Price was named first-team Big Ten on Tuesday and will likely receive All-American honors at season’s end. He was named a first-team All American last year by the American Football Coaches Association.
